General Questions:

The next edition of Intermodal Asia will take place 22 - 24 April 2026, at the SWEECC, Hall 3, Shanghai, China.

For businesses in the intermodal and container shipping industry actively seeking opportunities across the APAC region, Intermodal Asia is designed for you. Whatever sector you represent, this event serves your needs perfectly. You can expect to meet over 100 suppliers including established brands, emerging SMEs and new-to-market start ups.

This year, we are offering closed captioning throughout the conference, which enables you to follow the conference via subtitles on the theatre screens, in either Chinese or English, which are translated in real time.

China offers 30-day visa-free travel to multiple countries, including: Brunei, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Australia, Poland, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Norway, Slovakia, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, South Korea, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Malta, Estonia, Latvia, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Russia, and Sweden. 

To note, citizens from these countries would previously also have had to apply for a visa in advance if they:

  1. Expect to stay in China for more than 30 days; or
  2. Intend to study, work, settle down, or attend an interview in China.

You can find a China's visa-free policies: lastest updates, or the countries with 30-day visa-free travel to China list, but we strongly encourage you to check your local travel policies in relation to China.   

There will be wifi throughout SWEECC, but please be aware that some western platforms/applications will not be accessible without a VPN.

Office365 (including Outlook and Teams) will work as normal in China.
